The cards leverage Tabblo's art-director-in-software approach in the design process thus allowing users to create multi-photograph products with text and styling elements that possess the fit and finish of professionally-designed materials. People—both members and non-members — can get started quickly by sending one to six pictures to postcards@tabblo.com and then waiting for a notification that their card is ready for editing (non-members will be prompted to create an account). Tabblo members can also create postcards from their existing online albums or "tabblos" by clicking on the "purchase" link.

The 4x6 inch postcards cost $1.49 each and are available in units as small as 10 cards.
