When I first got my beloved Prissy, she was always in the bed with me. When she ruptured her discs, we had to make her stay in her own little bed. She was still in our room though. When we got Cinnamon, we started her in her own bed to prevent any jumping off of the bed. Well, after she was "fixed", I didn't want her messing with the wound so I put her in our bed....where she still sleeps to this day! Both of our babies always insisted on their own blankets...they cover themselves up!

What is the question? Yente of course sleeps in my bed with me, and my bed is .... mattress just on the floor. She sleeps under the covers, but I have to have my hand over her and she must sleep close to my neck. She wake me up with her nose and tongue on my face.

Ha ha! It seems that we are under the magical DOXIE spell...I love it! They are such a comfort and I love hearing about Yente in the morning with her nose and tongue...I call Lucy "Little iceberg nose" and she will come and touch her nose to my bare leg when she REALLY wants something...gets my attention!!!

I put some new flooring down and Lucy just had to pee on it to let EVERYONE know that it is her house...
not only that but ;^(...she peed on the padding as they were installing it (Even though we took her out time after time) I think there is a message somewhere in this... Yes, I still adore her ~

Just like a doxie! We bought our house on our 15th anniversary. We decided to spend a romantic evening alone before moving in...kinda camping out in our new room. Of course, we had to bring our babies! I ran a hot bath, lit candles, chilled champagne...then stepped right into a fresh wet spot from Prissy on our new carpet. No sooner did I get it cleaned up, I saw cinnamon making her statement! By the time I got everything cleaned up, the bath was cold and the champagne was warm...the mood was gone and we just cuddled up with our babies on the new rug (the dry spot) in THEIR new home...
