Hi Viqifrench! Welcome! i am so new at this but it seems so far I'm the only one 'doing' this altho i read another person's comment on one of my 'groups' that she also occasionally paints. I think for you, oui, it would be good inspiration to try a painting BUT!! u could also just put on 'possible painters' as did I in a couple of cases until such time as u do paint! n'ect ce pas? I would LOVE to see this be the catylyst for u to try one - i know what u mean, still every time I sit down to a blank canvas, I'm still a little 'afraid' to make that first brush stroke. So, all in all, I'd say WELCOME mon ami! Patty

Hi and welcome Terriculture. I KNEW you'd come in 'cause you told me you paint some of yours too. I've been waitin' on ya! (smile) This is so great and I DID join the 'Drawing' Group but it's not really my main thing. I have company coming all tomorrow for 2 wks til the 13th Sept.....so may not be on here as much (creatively) but will be checking all comments /messages. I want to again, thank Frank Mills of UrbanParadoxes for getting me involved here thru MySpace. Did I mention I LOVE collabertative teamwork ..:-} Patricia

Is this group for photo's-paintings only?
or can it be photo's-artworks using any medium?

Absolutely Terri! any medium, combo of mediums and/or with photos IS ART. Read the new quote on profile of this group. Before photography came along, paintings had been produced for many centuries....all the way back to the cavemen! lol IT'S ALL ART!
