I am trying to upload 1 photo... only 1... and have re-started the process 4 or 5 times now... and it gets stuck on 0% and never uploads... Is something wrong with Tabblo this morning or are too many people trying to do something at the same time?? Yesterday I introduced my sister to Tabblo and showed her how to make a tab... it was so frustrating that I'm not sure she will continue... took us forever (3 hours) to make a simple tab... the photos would not stay put... the overlap function would not stay on so every once in awhile all the photos would re-adjust and not overlap throwing them down to the bottom and we'd have to start all over. Nothing different about this morning that I know of. I've not had an issue uploading and haven't heard of any problems with the exception of this post. Has anyone else run into an issue uploading? 3 hours to make a Tabblo? It sounds like there must be something going on with the computer/browser. Any information you could give me regarding the computer and browser (OS, Browser Version, etc...) would be most helpful. If anyone else is having similar issues we want to make sure you're being addressed as well so post here!

I made a tabblo this morning and didnt run into any issues uploading pictures. I did noticed the grids didnt go back from fine to medium. Normally whenever I run into a Tabblo snag, I hit the complete as if the Tab is finished but dont publish it, then open it up again and go into edit. Seems like that action acts like a reset and I can continue finishing the Tabblo.

Yes... Linda... when working with my sister... we were clicking the overlap function... and it would work for a bit and then not work... throwing them into an unoverlap mode... we would go back & it would appear overlap was highlighted. We would refresh the page & that helped a bit, for awhile... We finally got it posted. As to my issue... the upload problem... I had my sis make a quick tab to see if it was a Tabblo problem overall... and she had no trouble... like you Eric... so I went back again and changed to "upload one photo at a time" and then it did work for me. Haven't tried to do anything since. Eric... I don't know what computer my sis has but we were in Firefox... Jude... Next time I'll try your suggestion... and publish instead of refreshing... Thanks!! Also... for the past 3 days, when I go to "view" "my groups" I get the "Tabbloops error"... haven't reported it as the error message indicates that it generates an automatic notify to you all... Still no notifications, Eric... on new comments on my tabblos... Thanks!!!

Jodi, I dont publish the Tabblo until I'm done with it....I hit the complete button, open and edit the tabblo. On the over lap function, I've found it works best under the medium grid. The picture youre overlapping still follows grid lines and if you have it on the larger grid, more than likely you wont get the picture placed where you want it. Hope this helps. I also had the no-notification going on for a while and it ended up being a setting I had on my PC, it wasnt a Tabblo thing. I'll try to remember what I did to get that fixed and let you know.

If I have two images that are partially overlapping, is there a way to force one on the top, or to send an image to the back? It'd be nice if, say, double-clicking on an image caused it to come to the front. It appears to have something to do with the order in which they're added to the layout, but I can't consistently get the behavior I'm looking for. Thanks!

I noticed the same issue tonite. Also, the tag function for using "your" tags doesn't work. AND JUST A MINUTE AGO AFTER WRITING THIS TOPIC, I GOT THE INFAMOUS "STACK OVERFLOW AT LINE 345." fROZE EXPLORER, SO AFTER SHUTTING DOWN AND RESTARTING, HERE I AM AGAIN. cOULD YOU PLEASE GIVE US AN UPDATE. Secondly, to answer Lifequest's issue, we're working on the Stack overflow issue and I'll report on it the minute we've got a solution. We've not forgotten this issue and the problem has been assigned to an engineer who's working on a resolution. I'm sorry you feel like you've been "dissed," but I feel it would be more disrepectful to fill this forum with placations when we don't have a solution. Please rest assured we're working on this issue.

I acctualy found a workaround: See http://www.tabblo.com/studio/stories/view/1516342/Since the search box is removed I discovered another way to search. I just add a tag with the "word" I am looking for and then click Tag. Tada! Example: You are looking for Prague. Add a tag "Prague" to any Tabblo, then click the tag Prague. .-) Åke

I can go to IE and create and can add text in Firefox after it is already created. However, when I create a text box in Firefox, it won't work. I've attempted to reproduce the issue without success. I'm using Firefox 2 and 3 and can move text blocks into a tabblo without an issue. Are you using the latest updated version of Firefox? I'm aware of some issues manuevering around the text fields in Firefox, but still looking for the issue you're describing.

I would recommend always having the latest versions of Flash and Java for a seamless surfing experience. Try updating those and let me know how it works for you.

I just made a tabblo... used the Peacock style... you cannot see the comments... I don't know what to do... tried changing things without changing my colors... changed to a different style using the same colors though... didn't help. Why couldn't the comment box always be white with black letters or something?? Don't know how to solve my problem without changing the background color... feel the comments should show up since that is the Peacock color scheme... Any ideas??

Ok... I figured it out... SORRY!!! I had the text & the field the same color as that is the color the text looks best in on this tabblo... but it didn't show then in the comments... so changed the color of the field to a lighter color... not as pretty but at least the text shows. Will stick with the idea that a white comment box might be nice... so you can do whatever you like with the tabblo colors...

In one 7 hr. window, I received 52 emails notifying me of Tabblos that have been made or added to certain groups, all from the same member. How can I stop this? I did add this person to my block list but that's only to block invites, not email notification of a tabblo being added to a certain list. As a last resort I clicked on the 'unsubscribe' part in the email to not receive notifications when something is added to that group which is not what I want to do. However, it doesn't work! Shortly after unsubscribing I got 4 more email notifications from that particular group!! And as I'm typing this I just received 5 more notifications from this same person. HELP!!

Great! Just to recap our conversation...we're not talking about invitation which was my mistake, we're talking about notifications. The answer is, if you choose to be notified when a new tabblo is added to a group that you belong you'll be notified when ANYONE adds a tabblo. There are no specific options to be able to exclude notification from a particular person.

Thanks for all the quick replies, both here and via email! Like I mentioned in my email, I belong to Flickr as well and belong to numerous groups as well. We are limited to three entries per day, per group. If you try to add more you get a little pop-up window letting you know that you've already met your limit for that day. It's a great system. Maybe we should try that here? It's a thought.

I also belong to flickr groups and each group has it's own rules. Some are unlimited postings and some set limits per day or by week. and it's up to the group administrator to do that or sometimes they remove photos. One thing i noticed on tabblo is that there are groups with long gone administrators. I don;t know if flickr has the same issue. But i was wondering if Tabblo could enact some guidelines for cases of absent administrators. Like letting someone take over. When we join groups, it's always fun to see the featured tabblos. I try to change the featured tabblos on Music Madness studio by updating the more recent tabblos to be featured. Well just a thought.

I know this was mentioned someplace else before, but I couldn't find it because we no longer have the search function. I still get the narrow group sharing window when I try to share a tabblo with a group. I have to go to the groups page and then click on share tabblo with this group, and that window works fine. Also, I'm having quite the problems posting to the forms. The same problem that someone else mentioned about old text remaining in the window, and not being able to be deleted by backspacing. I gave advice to select all before using delete or clear, but that didn't work for me in here. I couldn't just select what was in the message window and the whole page was being selected. And the other problem was that after I wrote the topics name, I couldn't make the cursor go into the text window to begin typing my message. The two problems might be related. I just wrote this in a text program, so hopefully when I go back I can just open a window and copy and paste this in. Oh, and I'm using a Mac, Firefox when I make tabblos, and Safari as my default browser, so it's the one that opens when I click on a link to the forums from my email, and so it's the one I'd be using to write a response in here.

PLUS my notification issues which I have reported since April 28th... I have discovered that using the TAB key will move the cursor into the message box from the topic line... I also use Firefox... but have a PC not a Mac...

I get the above error msg sometimes- I read on a tabblo in this group that you should NOT scroll back on what you have already written in your msg. well, IF I send more than ONE message, when i start my 2nd message, the MESSAGE BOX (where I will type my NEW message) is FULL w/ my PREVIOUS MESSAGE. so, I try to DELETE or CLEAR - nothing works - so i try to BACK SPACE to erase old msg and get THE ABOVE ERROR MSG! I thought it was a color issue, too. I went back to customize but no matter what I did it didn't work. I just deleted it and made a new one. I had no problem then. I have no idea what was wrong. Oh well. All is well now. LOL

Hi, have you first uploaded photos to your lightbox? When you're in edit mode, if you click on the Photos tab at the bottom, do you see the photos you've put in your lightbox?

The "Select groups" box in the "Share tabblo" page is very narrow. This problem has been there for some time and still persists. The actual symptom is that, for a fraction of a second it has the right size and position and then it moves to the right and becomes very narrow. Also, there still are some focus problems - I had trouble putting cursor in the edit boxes using the mouse and had to tab in when posting this message.

In addition... when trying to reposition photos in a tabblo, sometimes the photo you have ahold of just bounces all over the place... and it's hard to get it to land & stay in the new area you want... AND then there is the notification issue... I am still not getting any notification when someone comments on my tabblos or when someone sends me a message to the inbox... I only get notification from about 4 of the people who are in my circle when they post new tabblos... A couple people who were in my circle disappeared out of it... and one of the groups that I belonged to (If it makes you happy) disappeared from my groups.

I've had that same problem too, where images will jump back to their original spot after trying to move them (on Firefox on the Mac). But I haven't been able to reproduce exactly when it happens.

There are a few points here and I want to address them all. I'm not able to replicate the issue you mentioned regarding selecting groups to share with. The pages displays normally for me and the field is as wide as it needs to be in FireFox and Internet Explorer. Putting the cursor in edit boxes seems to affect Firefox users. Tabbing does work but right clicking in the text field also works for most people with those issues. This is something that we're aware of and it's queued for review. Several of you mentioned the photos jumping around and I've noticed you're using Firefox but it's not consistent. I've not been able to reproduce this myself and I'm wondering if anyone using IE has run into this issue. There could be several things that explain this action but seeing it would help narrow down causes.

The text editor does not work on Safari on the Mac [3.1.1 (4525.18)]. When you double-click on a text box, all you get is a white box with the HTML source of the text, not the text-style controls.

When clicking on the "Hi user name" link in the top right of the screen, and when I clicked on a link to "highlight" a Tabblo as Featured in Weekly Challenge, I am redirected to the correct URL - however, it uses https instead of http. I get a certificate error I can ignore - but the style sheet for the pages is "different" and the look and feel breaks. Hope this is enough detail.
