When I look at Joaquin's work, words like honesty, integrity, sensitive, intuitive,visceral come to mind. His images need no explanation for me. He shoots from a sensibility that speaks to me. I am excited and intrigued and amazed with every photo. His choice of subject is eclectic and timely. Wheter it's a walk through his neighborhood, an artistic mix of still lifes, or a journalistic repotage, the images tell a story of living an authentic life. I enjoy his sense of humor and sweet spirit!

Joaquin needs no introduction. His topnotch pictures do the talking--the vivid colors, the intricate compositions, and the spellbinding quality tell us far beyond the man behind the camera. He is Joaquin--my most favorite photographer in the Philippines--and more, he is a good friend, a sensitive mentor, and a kindred spirit. :)
