Community Yard Sale 2006

Atonement's annual community yard sale plus was held on September 9, 2006 on the parish front yard.  There were at least 500 visitors from the local Rosemont neighborhood and adjacent communities.

Each year Atonement sponsors this event to encourage neighbors to come to the parish grounds , exchange friendship, and hospitality.

Special thanks to Joe Pearce and Vickie Fallon for all the time spent planning and coordinating this event as one of several parish outreach events.

Pictured to the right is Mike Salmon (Council President) sharing his day as one of the cashiers.

Vendors participating at this years event included Diane Truax (Avon), Kelly Grady (Basket Works and Beyond), Kathleen Malony (BeautiControl), and other local guests which added to the quality of the event.

Neighbors are encouraged to sign up for a small space to sell their finery as well.

A supervised kids bounce house attracted many kids this year and gave the parents time to mingle around to do a little shopping.  Face painting, kids music, and $1.00 hot dogs were provided for our guests.

Atonements mission is to be a positive contribution to the local community and exist as a place to share friendship, help, and faith.

We would like to thank everyone who shared their time and there presence at this year's event.
