A Gippsland Jewel

Around 50 years ago, the Heyfield golf course was carved out of 120 acres of natural bushland on the edge of town.

The foresight of the early members is borne out today in the picturesque and challenging 18 hole course.

Many of the greens nestle in beautiful bushland settings that help make playing the course a sheer delight.

Birdlife is abundant, and the bush area adjacent to many of the fairways is abound with native flora, from tall mature eucalypts to tiny terrestrial wildflowers.

Much of the work on the course is carried out by enthusiastic volunteer members.

Members and visitors are assured of a warm welcome and an enjoyable round of golf.
