Now this is very different for you. The colors are so vibrant. I really like how you set this all up. It is very cool!

DEE: These photos were taken during the World Cup. Brazilians are crazy for football (Americans call it "soccer", don't know why), so the whole country was dressed in green & yellow.

¡¡Repito mis elogios del Phlog!!
Siempre es divertido ver cómo usan ustedes su bandera, tan colorida...¡pero sin tu rojo infantil!

This is very colorful! I like the variety of the photos.

JASON: I consider the idea of taking some havaianas as pasalubongs for my pinoy friends when I finally decide to take my vacations in the Philippines. Hope they are still fashionable...
Eduardo.affonso said at 11:50 a.m. on Oct 15, 2006:
SHIRL, AKEKE & MONICA: You have no idea about how powerful this combination of greenn + yellos + blue can be...
Eduardo.affonso said at 11:53 a.m. on Oct 15, 2006:
LILIANA: Mesmo depois da Copa ainda se vê um tanto de verde-e-amarelo espalhado por aí. Parece que a combinação caiu no gosto do povo. Houve um tempo em que tínhamos vergonha dessas cores, e era comum perguntar se alguém ia para a "parada de sete de setembro" quando resolvia usá-las. Eu mesmo continuo usando normalmente minha camisa aureoesmeraldina.
Akeke said at 12:37 p.m. on Oct 15, 2006:
GOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO BRAZILLLLLLLLLLL :-)
Jillcdunn said at 3:26 p.m. on Oct 15, 2006:

I can hear the samba drums ;-) I think this is great.
Eduardo.affonso said at 6:20 a.m. on Oct 16, 2006:
AKEKE: Have you ever listened to Brazilian speakers during football games? They do exactly like you did...
Eduardo.affonso said at 6:21 a.m. on Oct 16, 2006:
Thanks, JILL & NANCY. If I could add soundtrack to these images (it's an idea, why not?) you'd listen do samba drums, for sure.
Akeke said at 8:44 a.m. on Oct 16, 2006:
i know ! :-)))
Eduardo.affonso said at 8:57 a.m. on Oct 16, 2006:
May I know how did you know that, AKEKE?
Mthorne said at 10:27 a.m. on Oct 16, 2006:
nice photos and layout.
Eduardo.affonso said at 5:38 p.m. on Oct 16, 2006:
Thanks, MELISA. There were so many possibilities of layout that I just gave up...

Eduardo.affonso said at 7:48 a.m. on Oct 18, 2006:
KELLY & MARTINE: The World Cup had a sad end, but it made this country even more colorful.
Akeke said at 3:25 a.m. on Nov 18, 2006:
Eduardo: In Sweden we have rather often reports from different fotball-leagues, sometimes with the original comentator. Then you hear GOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOL of course (from South-american leagues). Actually some european commentators have started similar "sound". In swedish its MÅÅÅÅÅÅÅÅÅÅÅÅÅÅÅÅÅÅÅÅÅÅL !
Eduardo.affonso said at 3:43 p.m. on Nov 21, 2006:
AKE: Brazilians comentators should shout "Maaaaal" many times, because this word ("mal") means "bad" in Portuguese.
Pkeener said at 12:17 a.m. on Nov 22, 2006:
The last shot is very clever.
Eduardo.affonso said at 5:53 a.m. on Nov 22, 2006:
Why the last one, PAM? It's just like many others...
Pkeener said at 9:41 a.m. on Nov 22, 2006:
because it is like a parting shot from "behind" and I like the way you framed it. I also like the one in the center of the male manniquin It is always hard to chose a fave shot in your Tabblo's because each one is so fine.
Eduardo.affonso said at 4:46 p.m. on Nov 22, 2006:
PAM: I think my favorite is that one with many troussers behind little flags (middle left).
Ebucar said at 5:20 p.m. on Sep 17, 2007:
Um composicão incrível. Não é que o amarelo combina mesmo com o verde? Achei sensacional.
Eduardo.affonso said at 12:56 p.m. on Sep 4, 2009:
ELIANE: Só agora é que vi seu comentário neste velho tabblo. Sim, o verde está para o amarelo assim como a goiabada pro queijo, o arroz pro feijão, o suborno pro político...
