Uhrichkr said at 6:31 p.m. on Feb 13, 2008: What a gorgeous little flicker! They're certainly the most numerous of our woodpeckers but I rarley see them out of the trees. Great blend right into the rocks, with the snow contrast to make the camouflage all the better. BTW, the great backyard bird count is this weekend (Feb 15-18). It would be great to add some sights like this to the list!

Jerii said at 9:46 p.m. on Feb 15, 2008: Mike: These were taken through the glass. It was a cloudy day and I had the camera right up against the window which seems to cut down on unwanted reflections.
