nice chage ups! i like #1 and #2.
SeánanForbes said at 5:47 p.m. on Feb 11, 2008:
Thank you, both.

To me, the second photograph looks like a robot's navel-piercing. I did not think this when I took the shot. When I looked at the photograph, however, I had a disconcerting moment of adulterated 'Huh?'

I like very much these photos, but the world, fortunately, is "lots of colours.............." Ciao

First, thanks SO much for the earworm! Cool cool *cool* tabblo, though. This one's going to the favorites list. The top right shot and the circle at bottom right are especially resonant with me.

You are on a roll tonight....so when and where do we get to see your b/w exhibit? (with ALL the shades of grey in between....)
Memotions said at 7:51 p.m. on Feb 11, 2008:
ps...I know these aren't b/w...I'm referring more to the previous 2, not to confuse....

Great pictures like the 3rd one most for the colour tone and texture

These are fabulous! and yes it does look like a robots navel-piercing!!
SeánanForbes said at 9:58 p.m. on Feb 11, 2008:
Wow. Thank you all. It's amazing to come back to warmth and shelter, turn on the computer, and find this array of comments. I'm glad to see a couple of people caught the earworm. Filk songs are an old addiction. All the shades of grey . . . I'll start working on that.

Ce gris-là chante fort dans ma tête... Salut mon amie.

Jeanine, thank you. To read that my little greys make a spectacular tabblo -- and from one who knows beauty -- makes my morning. Thank you, Enaldo. As you know, I respect your work and your words. Anna -- thanks! I keep returning to your tabblos and it is warming to think that you could get lost in one of my photographs. Thierry, toutes vos photographies chantent et respirent. Merci, mon ami.

Thank you. They're cannon balls. The shot was taken on Riverside Drive in New York City.
