Klfillar said at 2:13 p.m. on Feb 13, 2008: My main concern is the hand in the foreground. I am worried that it may have crossed over from soft focus to just plain blurry.
Rheap said at 5:09 p.m. on Feb 13, 2008: Nice figure, and photo, but this kind of thing is better sharp..
Rahul.sharma said at 6:07 p.m. on Feb 13, 2008: With sculpture photography, it really depends what aspect of the figure you are trying to capture. Had this idol holding the lute (using its hand in the foreground), with soft focus on that hand (or the other way around) would have got totally different results. For this particular one, since it is without the instrument in its hands, I would have preferred sharp focus.
