Finally Fall

It's November 1 in Auburn, Alabama and we finally have an abundance of Fall colors to enjoy. It is so strange because there are still a lot of trees that are totally green and there are only a very few that have lost their leaves completely. I keep wondering what Fall is looking like right now up in Western, NY where we moved from a few short months ago. One thing is certain--I know it is not as warm there. It's been in the mid 70s here and in the 40s there. I am coming to really appreciate the balmy weather and blue skies of the South.

Love the colors and the layout. You're right, most of the leaves and colors are gone in the northeast.

Thanks a lot everyone! The "tomato"-looking things are actually some kind of berries. They're really pretty and grow in large clusters but I don't know what they are...Anyway, thanks and Happy Fall everyone!

Gorgeous, and stays that way all throughout. Those tomatoe-y things are called Pyracantha angustifolia or (Firehorn) .

Wow, Jill! You're beautiful pictures and layouts always amaze me. I love how you've grouped the colors (reds with oranges and yellows, blues with purples and greens). You've got such a great eye. It makes me want to come visit the South while all of the colors are so vibrant!
