Nope. Not picking a favourite. Appreciating the range.

une grande composition, où le rose et la matière sont en vedette. c'est très beau. merci Steve.

Pink can be surprising. :)

Ah, I don't think I have many pictures of pink, my mind keep refusing that colour I think! =) But in your tabblo I love it! These are amazing and creative, they inspire me! I've tried.. but sry, can't pick a personal fav! =)

Thanks, all ... and thanks for putting up with my skewed musical references. I'm likely done with the Floydian slips for a while, although I'll definitely be humming "Wish You Were Here" at the opening reception. And as I'm headed out, camera in hand, into subfreezing weather, I may be Comfortably Numb later on today ...

Gorgeous shadow shots, as usual.
I particularly like the splotch one. Sort of what I'd imagine a shower splash on holy ground (like a divine bath) would look like.

Very nice designs. Some give me the sense of being high altitude images. The table cloth image makes me think of a Sunday morning semi-formal breakfast.
SteveBrisendine said at 8:37 p.m. on Feb 21, 2008:
The tablecloth is from a bed and breakfast in Weston, Missouri -- and it was Sunday, come to think of it. The splotch is from an alleyway in Mission. Which ones have the high-altitude sense? I hadn't thought about that but I can see it on further viewing.

Both the pink construction marker images give me a sense of being taken from high above. I even get a strange feeling of an old style balloon with tether ropes in the first one, though that sense doesn't fit the perspective. The second one with the pink cross has a tar streak that could be imagined to be a river.
SteveBrisendine said at 9:46 p.m. on Feb 21, 2008:
That's a cool perspective, and I can see it the more I look at these. To me, the grey blotch looks as though it could be some sort of alien landscape.
Pkeener said at 9:49 a.m. on Feb 22, 2008:
blotches are always intriguing to me. i photograph them all the time. love these pink ones. was the rose pink?

Cool shots. Great tabblo.
SteveBrisendine said at 12:40 p.m. on Feb 22, 2008:
The rose was, I believe, white. I honestly don't remember. Thanks, as always, for the kind comments.

Thank you. It seems I've been revisiting colors lately ... although yes, Pam, I know I need to do my first purple Tabblo. Soon, I promise.
