Callaway doesn't know that a watched pot never boils. She's just keeping an eye on the chicken for me. ;-)
 
I'm making Chicken soup for dinner since it's cold and rainy here tonight.

Chicken Noodle Soup

2  chicken breasts

2-3 carrots diced

@ 3 Tbs of chopped onion

2-3 stalks of celery diced

1/4 tsp minced garlic

2-3 chicken bullion cubes

1/3 - 1/2 pkg noodles (fettuchini or egg noodles work best)

salt, pepper, parsley & bay leaf for seasoning  ( I also add a dash of Tabasco)

Put chicken in pot and fill w/water (about 6 cups)  also adding the bullion & boil till done.  Chop the chicken & add back to pot along w/all the veggies and spices.  Let simmer till veggies are done.  Finally add the noodles and cook till done.  Whalla - wonderful homeade chicken noodle soup!  Enjoy!

 
Noodles are on the counter for later.
 
Doing laundry, too. I know, SO exciting, Right!
 
In between trying to catch up on some DVR'd programs.
 
The boys are in my bed watching "toons" and....
 
and goofing off!

thanks for the recipe. Definitely a chicken noodle soup day. Love the photo of Calloway. He looks as if he wants to taste that soup.

Great tabblo! The cat is so cute and so are the kids. Love a pot of soup on a cold wintry day. A loaf of bread in the bread machine and it's time to eat.
