Dave, that was the funniest part. Sitting on top of the grill at that time was a disposable aluminum tray with scallops wrapped in bacon. The tray mostly covered the skillet so the first sign of trouble was the dripping metal forming a pool below the grill. The disposable tray never had a problem.

Just a word on the poor picture quality. I forgot my regular digital camera at home. These are just photos from my Treo, dirty lens and all.
