This was taken during the 42nd Annual Smithsonian Kite Festival near, as you can see, the Washington Monument.  This event takes place as part of the festivities associated with the annual Cherry Blossom Festival in Washington, DC.

I have around 200 different photos from the Festival ,of the Monuments, and of course the Cherry Blossoms. 

My previous Tabblo is going to receive a bit of a face lift (I'm going to keep the original up) after I re-edit the photos in it (there is a BIG difference in how the images looked on the laptop screen and my real monitor).  The edits from the laptop are too 'warm' for my liking.
