Durango-Silverton Narrow Gauge RR

The Durango-Silverton  is a narrow gauge railroad wending its way 49 miles from Durango to Silverton Colorado,operating yearlong, it is spectatular ride through the San Juan Mountains along the Amimas River. The building started in July 1879 and was finished nine months in1881. It has been in continueios operation for 127 years.

Wonderful picture of a great ride. Anyone who hasn't taken this ride should try to find a why to do so its a great ride.
