On a Wing and a Prayer

Words of wisdom: Make sure you go to the bathroom, not once, but twice before getting on a plane, especially when flying out of a large airport. Runways are bumpy, and it takes a painfully long time for the plane to taxi out and prepare for take off.

Great shots. The sequence of photos with varying amounts of color are cool. I'm big on the full color one. What mountain is that in the distance? Rainier or one of those other lovely ones in the Cascades? Nice tabblo!

I think my feet are back on the ground now. I like how the lighting changed on the wing shots, and like Pat said the "changing scenery." Reminded me of the shots of earth from the space shuttles.

I always sit in an isle seat. In case of an emergency, I'm first one outta there. Again, sharp shots, I guess no turbulence at this landing! After a couple of bloody marys, I just looove flyin'... don't u?? ;)

Nice clear shots of the snow covered mountains. Rain to sun, that's the way to travel.

Magnificent photos. I very much like first. A rain. The plane behind a window. A little sadly and melancholy. Views from a window of the plane are extraordinary and are very beautiful!

Hey Dar! LOL. this is great. I always seat on the aisle, too. Amazing clarity on these.

Thanks everyone! :) ... I actually love to fly, and always try to get a window seat; being up there and looking down on everything, and being able to see the top of the clouds, isn't something that happens everyday, and I never want to miss a thing! The clarity of these shots can be attributed to two things, one, I managed to wipe away the smears of someone else's cheeks and fingers, and two, I'm viewing my pics on a new iMac HD monitor so I'm able to see just what really happens when I tweak what I've captured! Ain't life grand! :)

Great set, Dar. I agree over the bathroom. Those plane toilets are too small. And if there's a line, it can be a painful experience waiting with your legs crossed.

Thanks for the tip! You were lucky to find a clean, transparent window. And Canada seen from the sky is absolutelly gorgeous (it's Canada, isn't it?).

Thanks again everyone... Not sure exactly what mountain these are, or where exactly, but it's somewhere between San Francisco and Seattle Washington.
