Pkeener said at 9:19 a.m. on May 6, 2008: it's like the fragmented (?) lovers are kissing next to the window.

Tunderke said at 9:50 a.m. on May 6, 2008: Very romantick... I think the woman back a little bit manly.. in the first picture of the statue. I do think ur black and white so perfect .....
Andre. said at 10:04 a.m. on May 6, 2008: I like the light. Maybe Rodin preferred big women:) Very nice layout.
Leftofcenter said at 10:21 a.m. on May 6, 2008: "fragmented lovers"? I like that Keener...
Wildthing said at 10:29 a.m. on May 6, 2008: Concentrates the eye on small areas of Rodin's great work. I wish you'd posted at least another half dozen shots. Terrific images.
EMA said at 10:35 a.m. on May 6, 2008: Beautiful composition! Excellent shots!
Ira said at 11:30 a.m. on May 6, 2008: Amazingly as in a stone the foreman could show heat of human hands both sweetness of embraces and kiss. The dead stone was made alive. Magnificent tabblo.
JuDeck said at 12:12 p.m. on May 6, 2008: agree with Keeners comment on fragments....b&w was the way to go with this too...excellent composition and shawdows
Mirella said at 12:45 p.m. on May 6, 2008: I like Rodin very much. Your b/w photos give me wonderful sensations. Thanks
Shenresi said at 1:05 p.m. on May 6, 2008: wunderschönes Tabblo, Annelies!!! Die schwarz/weiß-Effekte sind großartig!!!
Lifequest22 said at 1:24 p.m. on May 6, 2008: To followup on Kenener's comment: These lovers are open to the world with their love. They are next to the uncovered window letting the outside world know how they feel about one another. Not hiding anything. They want the world to know how grand their Love is.
Lifequest22 said at 1:26 p.m. on May 6, 2008: this tab has a good energy.
Chiloedream said at 1:26 p.m. on May 6, 2008: Cet Auguste baiser de pierre ne me laisse pas de marbre, il est une belle illustration de la saison des amoureux. Bravo bc.
Lifequest22 said at 1:29 p.m. on May 6, 2008: Yeah, i know--cliche. But it really does for me.
AliDar said at 1:33 p.m. on May 6, 2008: The museum doesn't seem much like a musuem... You've left out all of the other details that would imply such a setting and what you did show, the opened windowed door, seems very much like the back door kitchen entrances I grew up with. ...It's like I'm a voyeur, looking into someone's home and watching this kiss unfold. ... The layout, and the zooming in details, I think, are responsible for that. ... I'm not sure I got it this time, but that's the impression I get from this. ... And I agree with Ira, the dead stone or plaster was made alive! :)
AliDar said at 1:36 p.m. on May 6, 2008: Oh bummer, wish I had read Linda's followup on Keener's comment before I wrote mine; seems like she's hit the nail on the head!
Leftofcenter said at 1:43 p.m. on May 6, 2008: LOL (Dar) I will address all comments / cliche or not, meaningless, fragmented, kuel and off subject / later tonite during HAPPY HOUR (amiga will bring the brownies)
AliDar said at 2:04 p.m. on May 6, 2008: bout time we had a happy hour! :) ... I'm sure I'll be trying to stretch it out to more than an hour though. <G>
Flinkfar said at 2:23 p.m. on May 6, 2008: B/W really works here, niceeee.
Lifequest22 said at 3:17 p.m. on May 6, 2008: Will you be holding court?
Leftofcenter said at 4:06 p.m. on May 6, 2008: you can be the assistant district attorney.
Pkeener said at 5:29 p.m. on May 6, 2008: OMG!!! If a tree falls in the forest and nobody sees it, does it really exist?? WOT are you guys tokkin about? Pass the fragments of brownies and any tropicana left from Andre's tab, so i can make myself a Tequila sunrise and inspect my navel for a foe gours. its 5'oclock somewhere!!

Leftofcenter said at 6:26 p.m. on May 6, 2008: I'm never going to be a TOD with these kind of comments on my tab...
Pkeener said at 6:27 p.m. on May 6, 2008: you can always erase them. aint no skin off my nose..besides, now there is a group for the losers, er i mean, the true artists.
Leftofcenter said at 6:32 p.m. on May 6, 2008: no, I like foie gras comments.

AliDar said at 7:35 p.m. on May 6, 2008: ...Lefty, are you a lawyer?
Leftofcenter said at 7:39 p.m. on May 6, 2008: When I'm very tired and stressed, I like to talk like one, I'll say to my guys: ONE MORE OUTBURST LIKE THAT AND I'LL THROW YOU OUT OF MY COURT!!! ok- sorry- that's the Judge. Sometimes I'm the judge.
Lifequest22 said at 7:41 p.m. on May 6, 2008: And the jury. Whatcha drinking Dar? Actually, i was referring to "Holding Court like royalty."
AliDar said at 7:46 p.m. on May 6, 2008: Not drinking a thing... had some sparkling water a few moments ago. Maybe I should read the label... Just taking advantage of Annelies holding court, ... figured if she didn't need a bailiff then a court jester was in order. <G>
SterlingGray said at 8:45 p.m. on May 6, 2008: Not to interrupt the party, but wonderful imagery Annelies. I would also echo Linda’s comments and hope that we all have someone that special in out lives. Well done.
Abking said at 10:08 p.m. on May 6, 2008: I've never said this about photos of sculpture, but this is hot!

Pkeener said at 2:11 a.m. on May 7, 2008: Hey allan, I guessmaybe you were in the wilds a bit too long!! ;D
TavarES said at 10:09 a.m. on May 7, 2008: Interesting the expression of the privacy of the act, and the precaution to show that it had a window to present it as private!
Agdal34 said at 11:11 a.m. on May 7, 2008: Ah!,l'amour,Annelies.....Eternel ici, avec ces étres pleins de grace et d'éternité,éphémères avec nous pauvres étres de chair et de sang, mais on peut toujours réver!!!!!!!!!!!!

Thanks everyone! Thx amigas (that's including YOU Dar-ling!) for the entertainment!
I zoomed in on the hand, the back, her breast against his chest, because it is such a famous sculpture, wanted to show it from a different angle. The windows were facing them and overlooked a magnificent garden with 2 ponds (and more Rodin sculptures!).
These lovers were entangled in their own fairytale, oblivious to the outside world, so far but so close, living for the moment, it would all come to a halt soon enough...
Allan, the window is open now ;)
Eduardo.affonso said at 8:55 p.m. on May 7, 2008: Just great, ANNELIES. Here contrast becomes dialogue (the title could have been "inside", why not?). And what kind of dialogue can be more effective than a kiss?
Fredzee said at 7:29 p.m. on May 11, 2008: Mon chat qui se réveille tardivement devant ce magnifique tabblo, me dit qu'Auguste lui avait soufflé jadis dans l'oreille que "Un art qui a de la vie ne reproduit pas le passé ; il le continue."... il était tout fier, le Chat... :)
Leftofcenter said at 8:33 p.m. on May 11, 2008: thx Edu, you know that song "you must remember this... a kiss is just a kiss..." (in Casablanca I think..) bonne nuit le chat, mmmmm...
PhotoPop said at 9:54 a.m. on May 13, 2008: Lost in the moment, sweet oblivion. Reality lies outside but they have the Now.
