The noisy and belligerent Rainbow Lorrikeets seem to always be around these days. Their colour and antics add a wonderful dimension to the garden.
Visits by the beautiful Crimson Rosella seem to be declining lately. This one is defying the rule of parrots mostly picking up with their left foot! |

About this time each year, we get visits from Gang Gang Cockatoos. Often when feeding, they can be very obliging to a photographer. Just love that coppery tinge on the breast of the female. |

This is the first year the Satin Bowerbirds have constructed their bowers in our garden. Nearby, I spread some variously coloured items on the ground. In less than half a day, the blue items had been 'stolen' by the male for decorating his main bower. |
