BMW Advanced Driving and Safety School with my BMW 135i

My car: Production date 2/08 i35i, among the first sold in the US. Sport package + Dinan tune.

M badging. An interesting design choice by BMW. Pretty contentious really, but, I don't mind.

An awesome M Coupe at the track.

I got Antonio to make the drive up to NH by calling him a chicken over AIM.

One guy in my group had a really nice M...3? 5? Anyway, it was awesome. I think that's it on the left.

Skidding out and smoking your tires against asphalt creates dust.

Pavel made a surprise visit with Jenya and videotaped one of my mini-autocross runs.

Lined up and ready to drive!

You can't hear it, but there is a constant sound of tires squealing in the background. There is also the smell of burnt rubber.

It was a very fun day and I highly recommend taking an advanced driving course if you possibly can.  The folks up at the New Hampshire International Speedway (www.nhms.com) are great.  Here is a video I took using Qik on my N95 of a couple cars running the skid pad.
