Two Horse Open Sleigh

Londonderry, VT

 

There is something noble about these working horses. They live a simple life on a beautiful farm in Vermont. They are strong, athletic and gentle. They can pull a wooden sled filled with riders at impressive speeds across a snow-covered field.

 

And they are cool when someone drops a kid on their back.

Good suggestions on the Christmas card. I've been making my own photo cards for years. The top photo will indeed make a nice card. I'm putting it together now.

You have brought me down memory lane. Some 27yrs. ago I moved here to Mass. I lived on a farm and had purchased a Clydes Dale named Billy. He was def. a gentle giant. Great with kids, even tempered, and always willing to do your bidding. Great set of pics and thanks for the memories!!! Have a Merry christmas!
