These photos are outstanding, Alison - very well done.

Thanks Noreen; I passed on the compliment. She's actually, well, sitting right next to me. <grin> By the way, ignore the variation link; this tabblo has nothing to do with my 'You Looking At Me?', just used it so I could have the option of a fine grid. :)
Hollyridger said at 2:53 a.m. on May 25, 2008:
Actually I didn't notice the Variation link until you pointed it out. My favourite photo is the second last one - just superb. The last image is a bit sinister, isn't it? I mean the words "Help Myster" or is my imagination working overtime!
Shenresi said at 3:01 a.m. on May 25, 2008:
yes, Dar, I agree with Noreen, my fav pic is also the second last one!!! Great shots, thanks and greetings to Ali !!!
AliDar said at 3:04 a.m. on May 25, 2008:
I think it leans a bit on the darker side of humour, but sinister might be a bit much... did you watch a creepy movie tonight? ;)
Welshchick said at 3:30 a.m. on May 25, 2008:
That makers three of us...I can just reach out and touch that smooth water and shiny piece of kelp...or is it a paper sack? Whatever it is...it's beautiful~ BRAVO Alison and Dar :^)

The second photo... This magic. Beauty in the pure state.

Wow..there is inspiration here in your tabblo for all of us...thanks !
Leftofcenter said at 8:46 a.m. on May 25, 2008:
Yeah Ali! #4 looks so (here we go again, sucky tabblo critique) r e a l !! and the last is my favorite, because it's just a "hole in the wall" but how sharp, clever and outside the box. move over Dar, let me sit next to Ali!! ;)

WOW! A fave for me. I love the exploration of textures. I have been enjoying Dar's pictures and tabblos so much. It's nice to see some of Alison's work. What a team!!
PaulBarfoot said at 10:26 a.m. on May 25, 2008:
by the way - image 2 reminds me of the f64 Group's work (Edward Weston, Paul Strand, Ansel Adams, etc)
JuDeck said at 12:32 p.m. on May 25, 2008:
Super shots, the textures in each just pop right out...favs are the 2nd one (what a nice compliment from Paul!) and next to the last....smooth.
Umauma said at 2:42 p.m. on May 25, 2008:
Dar..they are all incredibly beautiful shots..Allison's got a great future in photography if she keep this up. More!!!

Love all the textures. Allison--wonderful photos. I'm glad Dar posted them so we could enjoy.

DAR and Alison is exellent tandem! Photo# 4 is my fav!
I have a feeling that the selection of photos reflecting various stages of human relations and sensitive ... and lace, and thorns, and the flight over the surface of the water... I think I know all of them!
Abking said at 9:22 p.m. on May 25, 2008:
I like them all! Great set.
AliDar said at 9:43 p.m. on May 25, 2008:
I like them all too! :) Each has something a little different, but all represent the style of photography that Alison does, and that I admire. She's very good at it I think. :) ... Even the last shot, which Noreen your comment got me to thinking that it was out out of sync with the rest of the set; You're right of course, when compared to the other's it seems sinister, but I like comparing the two pipes, ... sort of like two different points of view... .... well, maybe that's stretching it. <G> ...

Rhonda, it is kelp. :)

Paul, Alison is honoured by your compliment, as she is by everyone's.

Dennis, not quite as symbolic as that, just wanted to brag a bit and give honour and respect to where it was due.

Thank you everyone for helping me do that! :)

Wonderful photos Ali. I really like the first and last. The first reminds of things long gone and how we must cherish what is right in front of us. The last, I agree with Dar, (I tried not to read before commenting, but couldn't help it) different points of view - you can let life run over/through you or you can put your feet down and do it your way.
DocEna said at 10:26 a.m. on May 26, 2008:
Bravo..number#4 is my fav...the lighting and reflexions are unique ...the almost oily texture or metallic to my eyes give it a special ambience...the others are also very nice...congrats....

This is just wonderful. All are so nice in the large format. Dar, it's so cool of you to sho Ali's work from time to time. I quickly looked at this last week, and was in too much a rush to leave a comment, but it really struck me as how insipring it is to acknowledge those around us, who inspire us. LOVE the last shot!!
