JuDeck said at 6:44 p.m. on May 27, 2008:
That is the nicest looking garden Dar! With all that TLC, you're going to be eating some fine vegetables in the next few months. I see Fizz has got the right idea too, chillin in the shade. Two green thumbs up for this tabblo!

And I suppose you grew them all from seed. Well done you, i am extremely impressed. There is nothing I like more that a nice garden to look at, my own included, but motivating myself to weed and work in it is another story. Perhaps you will be my inspiration!

AliDar said at 7:14 p.m. on May 27, 2008:
Thanks Dennis, my garden is my Zen place. :) Thanks Annelies, yep Alison too the photos of me, and I took the ones, well, that don't have me in them. ... And Fizz just chilled.

Wow--that's one tidy green, garden. And I'm ready for the salad.
AliDar said at 8:31 p.m. on May 27, 2008:
Yipes! Then I'm keeping you out of my garden, for at least another couple of week! ;) It's growing quickly, (zucchini sprout just popped up this morning! :) but there's not even enough greens to make one small side salad yet. ... You'll be the first to know though; It's wonderful to share this with all of you... And Hey, we're suppose to have a BBQ when the fixins are ready to be picked,... and Jude, and or Annelies, not sure which, was going to be doing up some ribs! <Grin>
Leftofcenter said at 8:35 p.m. on May 27, 2008:
Jude. I don't BBQ but I'll make the margaritas and share my mosquito repellent.
Lifequest22 said at 8:40 p.m. on May 27, 2008:

Cowgirl said at 9:29 p.m. on May 27, 2008:
Great shots ... How do you keep the critters out????? Ill bring the Mojitos and the Tecate Beer..
and the salad dressing..
Leftofcenter said at 9:31 p.m. on May 27, 2008:
Bobbie in da house! yeah MOJITOS!!
AliDar said at 9:39 p.m. on May 27, 2008:
We live in the city, so the only critters I have to deal with is cats, ... and believe me, it's been a battle, (gotta get me one of those gigantic water pistols!) but now that things are growing it's not so much of a problem. ... A couple of years ago there was a deer in the garden though, ... saw hoof prints, ... and the tops of every plant had been bitten off.

I've never had Mojitos before so I just looked it up; they sound delicious! Looks like we're going to have great BBQ! :)
SterlingGray said at 9:41 p.m. on May 27, 2008:
The garden is coming along wonderfully. My expertise in the garden probably matches Fizz’s, I just sit back, watch, and do as I am told. Can’t wait to see the end products.

JuDeck said at 11:06 p.m. on May 27, 2008:

AliDar said at 12:03 a.m. on May 28, 2008:
Thank you Sterling and Ray. :) Korinka, I like that, 'noble and kind. :) Jude; I've never had BBQ ribs before how the hey should I know, wet or dry. <G> ... You choose, and the bbq of course will be virtual, so I'm sure you can cut your prep time down to, oh say, fifteen minutes or so. :)

You seem to be a green-thumbed girl, DAR. Wish I could be invited for a spinach salad...
ConnieL said at 8:10 p.m. on May 28, 2008:
Wow, Dar, it seems like just a couple days ago you were 'breaking in the wheelbarrow' and now you have things to weed. Had to check...it was a month ago. Really looks good!

Thanks Eduardo, Connie, Jeanine, Angela, Deb and Woodie! :) ...Eduardo, consider yourself invited if you are ever in this neck of the woods. Angela, I agree; I can't wait to be able to pick my very own, homegrown tomatoes! Deb, I love the sugar snap peas, ... um, the pic and the veggie. <Grin> And Woodie, thank you; I worked hard to get the best shots possible of those tiny little plants, laying on my stomach, trying not to squish anything. Do you have any idea how tiny a bunch onion seeding is? <Grin> I appreciate you noticing. :)
