More Than Meets the Eye

I would say you got it. They are three Doggie Diner heads from the iconic 40s restaurant chain (and I think they are dachshunds). They were on a trailer yesterday as I was going to the camera shop. Apparently, they are also the subject of a recent documentary.

looks like a chevron patch in the bottom left corner... like you'd see on a uniform or letter jacket... are these part of a painting??? They don't look like they go together... ;p

I think everyone has gone to bed for the night... which is where I'm headed too... with one last guess... gargoiles (sp??) although they still look like birds or some building trim/decoration... gargoiles (sp?) I'm saying part of a decorative iron fence...

I think they are some sort of "mascot" for someplace... like Ronald McDonald... only these are droopy eared dogs... with DD on their caps... so "Dairy Dream" dogs or "Daisy's Dance" studio dogs... :p
