i can't imagine a nicer tribute. this is very very sweet. the Gibson speaks volumes. love the high saturation and the "jazzy" feel to this layout. Great choice on the Pass song. He was a master, as well. Ben at 17 looks so cool, and a bit like Django, no? He is surely smiling and playing today, Annelies. Cheers, Ben! and I know it's 5 o'clock somewhere.

hey Dar- the guitar is at my mom's in the Netherlands, from the immediate family, the ones that actually KNOW how to play the guitar- my niece who lives in Calgary and my husband- live far away. dave plays a bit, even mommie dearest.. but shhh- :)

prachtig deze foto's! 'Nuages' de perfecte titel voor het juiste nummer van de gitarist die enkele vingers mist en toch zúlke klanken kan produceren! Dat in combinatie met de juiste foto's van het soort gitaar dat bij juist díe gitarist hoort! NUages, er is geen ander woord voor!

The greatest guitar ever. Whenever I come to Oma's I can't wait to play it. You've inspired me to take my own pictures, but don't worry, I won't paste them on tabloo, unless you want to have a tabloo-off. I really love how you put the pictures together. Opa would absolutely love it. Whenever I play his guitar I look at his picture and think that I am playing a homage to him.

Schitterende muziek van Joe Pass, ikzelf vind zijn versie van "Summertime" (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qp-lTgapo_E&feature=related) geweldig had deze nog nooit eerder gehoord terwijl ik Summertime versies verzamel.
Een mooie herinering en tribute aan je vader trouwens.
