Woody--this is a beautifully composed Tabblo. The perspective on the first photo is truely stunning. Thank you for honoring the victims of this tragic event in American history.

There are just some things that shouldn't be forgotten. ... Alison and I talk about this sort of thing often whenever we see a memorial of such a tragic event. She refuses to give credence to such things because she feels that by doing so she is promoting the infamy of the bomber, sniper, or terrorist, but I tell her it's not the villain that's being payed tribute to in such things, but the victims and to the families and loved ones that were left behind. Excellent tribute Woody; and I agree with Linda; the angle on that first shot is amazing!

Thank you so much for this, Woody. This tabblo is a beautiful piece of work, with your signature touches. I love how your daughter ties it all together for the thread in the pictoral story. Each photo is just amazing. It is a very good reminder of this tragedy. I have family in Oklahoma, so this hit home for me.

Thanks for the reminder, Woody. These photos are really beautiful - I especially like how your daughter is included in them - it makes the storytelling so real.

Being a native Oklahoman, I thank you for this tribute. I thank you for remembering. I thank you for the wonderful photos and the way you have presented this tribute. I remember exactly where I was and what I was doing when this tragedy occurred. I lost friends that day that should still be here with us. A devastating day that I shall never forget. I have been to the memorial several times and Woody, you present it well. I have taken several photos of the memorial, but I have never been able to bring my self to present them in a public forum, maybe because it is too personal for me, I don’t know. But for this tribute Woody, Thank You.

DAR: i did consider that alternative perspective of remembering this event, but like you, i think the pros outweighs the cons. PAM, LAURA: its not always easy to get family to pose for pictures but i thought she did allright! =) JODI: yes you have to, and if you get hungry, stop by the bricktown area--they have a wonderful variety of good restaurants! TUNDE, SAUL: the statue of Jesus is across the street from the western entrance to the park (just south of the Post Office). STERLING: it is my privilege and honor to do so, thank you.
Mirella said at 4:15 a.m. on Jun 5, 2008:

I had to come back and congratulate you on a well deserved TOD, and to admire your photographs some more. ... There's a peaceful quiet about these Woody; one I believe was inspired by the place. I like it very much that they made a place like this. Peace is a good thing to give to those affected by such tragic events.

It's wonderful to be able to view such a wonderful monument to tragic lives lost on the other side of the world. Whilst this is so sad, it is also very beautiful and you should be congratulated on such a fine outstanding tribute. Congratulations on all levels.
