Weight Of The World

this photo is another sort of an accident .. she wasnt particularly sad at the moment we were having a nice conversation among a group of friends when i snapped this photo... and when i was reviewing it later it just seems so melancholic and she looked so weary ... well i guess it was just an odd moment captured accidentally and i hope she doesnt mind me putting up this photo:)

Qu'importe l'explication... La photo est belle par son atmosphère et la forte présence du personnage. Elle suscite émotions.

It's a very nice capture and the effect of desaturation of the person makes it more impressive. Excellent work!

the photo stands out on its own, the subject in b&w, colored background- and of course the way she's holdin' her forehead... terrific, the kind of shot I always look for.

I hold my forehead just like that if I've had a little too much Scotch the night before. Great image.

What a wonderful shot! Maybe you caught something that was there but for your camera you would have never known.

Good use of color. Sometimes the moment portrayed in a photo is entirely different than the real time event, and becomes a unique statement. Nice work!

I really like the pattern in her dress and the highlights on her watch. Great Shot.

It is quite interesting, ... and moving! I love how she's in b&w, and the background in soft colours. Quite often you see that done the other way around to make what is in colour stand out. But this is the opposite, and with the opposite effect, and because of the mood, it works perfectly. .. Her body language, her upper lip sticking out just the little the way it is.... I feel like I'm eaves dropping on an emotional personal moment, one that you wouldn't normally see with a stranger because you would turn away and give them their respectful space.
