AliDar said at 12:31 p.m. on Jun 18, 2008: Thanks everyone! :) Angela they are definitely slippers, I think everyone is just pulling my leg, so to speak. <grin> Like Jigs said, they are made of Chinese silk, and since I photographed them in an export store in Chinatown, I'm assuming they are Chinese house slippers. They are very fancy, not to my tastes though, but I was attracted to the many colours and patterns. Annelies and Den, if you see the slippers on the right of the photo as being red, I think you need to re-calibrate your monitors! :)
