Vesuvio's looks like a great place to hang one on. Great set.

The beat writers, being beat, TGIF, and these photos just seemed to go together for me. Annelies I didn't know Kerouac wrote haikus; thanks for the heads up, I was wanting to quote something from him to tie this all together, and a haiku is perfect.

Good shots Dar. When I got to the last one, all I was thinking was, if he has an arrow pointed at me it's time to get out of there.

Pkeener said at 4:31 p.m. on Jun 20, 2008:
guess I didnt get the memo, here. First Jude, now you...Jack spent time in Denver, you know. The museum here, had his scroll and an exhibit last year. He is one of my many underdog heros:

"Everything is going to the beat - It's the beat generation, it be-at, it's the beat to keep, it's the beat of the heart, it's being beat and down in the world and like oldtime lowdown and like in ancient civilizations the slave boatmen rowing galleys to a beat and servants spinning pottery to a beat..." JK

Yeah, Coolness, Dar. LOVE IT!!
Pkeener said at 4:32 p.m. on Jun 20, 2008:
I also like the umbrellas in the 2 shots...

Thank you everyone for stopping by and visiting my little tribute to TGIF; Pull up a chair, put your feet up and have a drink, but not too much that you reflexes get slow and you're not able to duck when one of those arrows come whizzing your way!
AliDar said at 8:45 p.m. on Jun 20, 2008:
