Ira--this is one of my favorite Buildings. I have more photos of it which i will use in a later tabblo. The S&W was designed by architect Douglas Ellington and is one of the finest examples of the Art Deco style, which is a combination of many different styles and movements of the early 20th century.

I didn't go in but might do that the next time I'm in Asheville. They are making the 3r floor into condos and adding a 4th floor for condos too.
