Oh Heeeeeeyell no. :) I thought I might want to do it once... but when I saw these guys, I realized there was no way I was going to run and jump off a cliff. Or be a pelican. Or duck. :) I do fly in planes though.

Well Matt (now that your mum YorkJodi 'outed' you as her kid (wink!) I take an even greater interest in your tabs........I had a friend back in post h.s. dayz who did this hang gliding...ken glintz i believe his name was. HE LOVED IT - took every chance to do it and then one day BOOM...bad landing - lost all left hand fingers up to first hand joint! SAD.........the pelicans tho' have no such worries I should think! (but who knows? maybe they have bad landings too or hit that ocean like i've seen em do in florida, and wham!!!!!!!! shark waiting for them!?! lol lol GREAT SET MAT! pmc

I would love to do this... have a friend who did it last year (she's 3 years older than me even)... would love to fly to SF too ;) teehee... love the pelicans & jet plane... all of these are awesome photos!!!

I feel the thrill and exhilaration of that paraglider! I hope someday I get to do that! And I love the transition from the lone "Daedalus" (I prefer to call him that as Icarus flew too close to the sun and plummeted to the earth and we all know what happened next) to the flock of birds and the plane! Bravo!
