Magnificent! It never clicked that the white cliffs of Dover might actually be... white cliffs! The winding trail into the field is lovely.

One of the thickest layers of chalk rock in the world. Very dramatic! Are these buildings at the bottom of the cliffs? On the beach of the English Channel? Permanently?

Great shots, Sue. 'There'll be bluebirds over the white cliffs of Dover, tomorrow, just you wait and see. There'll be joy and laughter, and peace ever after...................' I can hear Vera Lynn singing that ancient song:)
