WOw.. This is very unique. I love how the smoke just adds beauty to the pictures. This is a cool break from pictures of places--which most tabblos feature. :)

I was going to ask Dave who this was...but I guess it doesn't matter and would probably skew my perception of this work. Yes James, this is very different from the normal ToD. Don't we all have someone in our lives like this? I know I do...and it's uncanny how this Tabblo conveys it's message. Great work.

beautiful...nice light but a lonely feel, I have seen many people as their life dwindles down to a room...I hope that person is loved and not alone :)

Congrats on your TOD... love the lighting & mood you caught... and love that you visited this man...
There are too many older people that no one visits... this is a lesson for us all...

I think TOD must be different, it is not compulsory flowers or scaffolding! haha))

Dave, you described the surprising history, which lasts as for long, as it is smoked cigarette. surprising light.

Poem of solitude!

Life as it is, raw emotion, warts and all. Compelling drama; reaching into the innermost chambers of our hearts. this is unique, Dave, thanks for sharing!

Playing with "chiaroscuro" is an art. It's not just a matter of shadows and lighting, and you captured it in a very intimate mood, DAVE. ToDs can bring us good surprises sometimes...
