New England Flood of 2006

This week, many New Englanders had to

slow down as the worst flood since 1936

inundated the region.  Detours were common througout Eastern Massachusetts,

Southern New Hampshire and

York County, Maine.

For most, the flood was an inconvenience.

For some, it was a nightmare of submerged cars, flooded basements  or unexpected evacuations.

But there was beauty too.

Everywhere.

And the sun eventually did shine.

All that's left is the clean-up.

And the stories.  Where were you in the Flood of '06?
