Therossfirm said at 8:13 a.m. on May 22, 2009: nice contrasts and juxtapositions. i worked in an office in the tower outlined in green neon from the 1st Dallas and on the right hand side of that Tab's front page. My office overlooked the painting of the over sized little boy pulling the wagon and I watched it being "born." You captured the fact that Dallas is a city of great contrasts.
Hhwind said at 8:41 a.m. on May 22, 2009: Interesting shots of a city, haven't seen the mobil sign for sometime now, thanks for sharing this.
DEE-Trow said at 8:48 a.m. on May 22, 2009: Yea, another one! I love the contrast between old and new. Nice!!!

Ira said at 10:10 a.m. on May 22, 2009: I live in city. I look on other cities. I am shaken by houses and huge quantity of the people living in them. Sometimes I think - people are happy? What they think and how live? Around of us of a wall, architecture, glass and concrete. But we are happy here? We build our houses above than sky and clouds. But there are no we less? The people - ants in an ant hill? Your photos have given me philosophical mood:) Excuse, if I have afforded many words:)
Eduardo.affonso said at 10:37 a.m. on May 22, 2009: IRA: I totally agree with you. We live surrounded by glass & concrete, in an unnatural environment. Most of us can not even open the windows of our offices - it is like living locked in a cage. Happy or unhappy? Happier than an ant? Would we be happier living far from this stressing technology, closer to nature (and its ants, mosquitos, stressing silence)? Dunno. Your comment pushed me into a phylosophical mood...

AliDar said at 12:14 p.m. on May 22, 2009: Would not have know that this was in Texas if the title hadn't told me so. I love the contrasts of the old brick buildings with the modern glass ones. It all looks so surreal, right down to the huge wagon filled with cars. Very cool and interesting photos Edu. :)
Chilla said at 12:47 p.m. on May 22, 2009: This is an interesting contrast to the first Tabblo!
Shenresi said at 1:45 p.m. on May 22, 2009: wow, great views, like everytime, Eduardo!!! great tabblo- thx -!!!

Swedfinn said at 3:16 p.m. on May 22, 2009: Great views of roofs and walls but I am not sure if I could find my way there by your picks : ))
Andre. said at 5:08 p.m. on May 22, 2009: You really have a highly "architectural" eye, Edu. Far beyond my reach I must say.:)
Karsten said at 5:46 p.m. on May 22, 2009: Eduardo - love this contasts! as they said before - surrealistic! Doesn´t seem to be in the USA... Thanks for the tour!

Abking said at 9:28 p.m. on May 23, 2009: Love the contrasts. The recurring grids of modern buildings highlight the old the way the formal presentation of a museum frames art from the past.
RosaneMar said at 10:49 p.m. on May 23, 2009: Eduardo, realmente um trabalho magnífico. Me fez lembrar da série dos anos 80 Dallas. Claro que em tempos mais modernos.

Debdog said at 1:13 p.m. on May 24, 2009: love the contrasts of the old and new....and in answer to your question...i could be happy living closer to nature and seeing trees and green mountains and lakes rather than bulidings...that feeds my soul, and i don't mind ants...as long as they are not the biting kind ;)
