Baby deer and geese plus pics of me in the Columbia Gorge.

I normally dont take pics off myself but here's a picture of me with my camera on a timer at a long exposure,I had to stay still despite a caddis bug crawling on my neck.

This small pool in the creek has pretty trout in it and i plan on taking underwater pictures of the trout here but for now the water level to high for now.

Wild flowers with shade and water in the background.

Pic from my deck, these Canadian geese are looking for a handout from my neighbors,im so glad my deck is high enough to prevent them and other waterbirds from getting on my deck to you know what : )

Put on my 400mm lens for this pic,Sun is low so i didnt get that good of a shot since im taking the pic in the direction of the Sun.

Cute little fuzz ball.

As soon as i saw this female deer I instantly knew she was in the process of giving birth and it took her 2 hours to finally give birth.

All these pics are long range.

Another female deer came by to inpect the baby deer.

Mother ran the curious deer off.

The baby deer stood up and fell often so getting pic of it i had to be quick for a pic of it in the brushy terrain.

while being patience waiting for the baby deer to show itself better i lowered my camera toward the waters near me for this redwing blackbird pic.

following it mother leaving the area.

Double checking baby progess.

Wow! what an amazing thing to happen immediately in front of you! You were so patient to wait until you got good shots of the fawn. The briar rose is gorgeous, a lovely tabblo
