Paul said at 12:01 p.m. on Aug 7, 2007: Very good title, Anders. What's that thing on the water, in the distance?
Hollyridger said at 12:02 p.m. on Aug 7, 2007: This is certainly thought-provoking. I like it very much, Anders.

Floridamolle said at 12:09 p.m. on Aug 7, 2007: Thank you so much. Paul I zoomed in and it's a kayak, first thought it might have been a dolphin they where plenty that day. First I was gonna clone it away, but figured it was a distraction that was interesting
Memotions said at 12:09 p.m. on Aug 7, 2007: Ah yes....definitely gives you the feel of "the little fish in the big pond". Thought provoking photo.

AliDar said at 1:48 p.m. on Aug 7, 2007: Tabblo Critique group: Nice shot! the vast empty horizon really gives that small fish big world feeling, but I'm not sure that the kayak in the distance adds anything. I suppose it all depends on what you are doing with the photo. So I think in this application it distracts from feeling of reflective solitude.
Floridamolle said at 2:00 p.m. on Aug 7, 2007: WHAT KAYAK? LOL! I think you are soooo right Ali.
JuDeck said at 4:06 p.m. on Aug 7, 2007: great shot but i'm still looking for the kayak
Hollyridger said at 4:12 p.m. on Aug 7, 2007: Tabblo Critique Group: Anders, I agree that the photo is improved by removing the kayak. The only suggestion I have is that your reduce the depth of the sky to a 1/3:2/3 ratio rather than a 50:50 and this way, the ocean looks even larger. This is a personal viewpoint, of course, but it is a recognized "rule" in landscape photography. Great photo!

Love2laugh said at 6:40 p.m. on Aug 7, 2007: I'm looking for a bird... right ?? LOL Great title... for a great tabblo !!!
Floridamolle said at 7:26 p.m. on Aug 7, 2007: Thank you for your wonderful comments and critique. Well I don't know what they are talking about Leftie!!?? You might need new glasses Sheila, cant't see the bird? Noreen, yes I know about the thirds, but I kinda looked how to crop it, and in this case I felt and still feel that the world looks bigger with this almost 50/50 crop. I am so thankful for you guy's critique, it make me think and LEARN!!
