Luke, Sha, and Brian's Excellent New York Adventure

Over the Labor Day weekend, the Levine family took a trip to New York City. We stayed in the Westin Times Square hotel on the 31st floor.  These pictures show the view from our room and Luke living in the lap of luxury.

On Sunday, we took the subway all the way out to Coney Island. My grandfather used to take me to Coney Island all the time when I was growing up. I hadn't been back in over 30 years!

First stop, Nathan's for hot dogs and crinkly fries...

Then on to Coney Island and the boardwalk.

My grandfather would give me a roll of nickels and let me play skee ball while he read the newspaper out on the boardwalk.  There's still a skee ball place there although I think the one I played in has been torn down.

Astroland is still there in all its faded glory.

Back in Manhattan...

Times Square by day...

...and by night.

Next stop...Broadway and Spamalot.  It was absolutely hilarious!

But the best was yet to come.  We scored tickets to the U.S. Open for the next day!

A few other people got tickets too...

Justine Hennin and James Blake on the practice courts. (Caught via the "Bri-cam")

Jelena Jankovic signing an autograph just for me!

The other Luke (Jensen) interviewing a young fan.

Roddick vs. Berdych

The end to a great day.  Brought to you by...Lexus...
