So we moved into our new offices at the end of last week and got out of our previous configuration of 1 cube + 1 office for far too many people. The digs are not fancy but they are a place we can call home and in a great location, so everyone is really jazzed.

One thing that seems to be a bit of a downside though is the physical distance between our offices. After months of being literally on top of each other, we are now forced to use all sorts of modern technology to keep in touch.

During this intense video conference, we were pushing some new profiling code up to the cluster. I don't know why but for some reason I kept screaming:

"Damn it Chloe, open a socket to the server!"
