This shrine is dedicated to Our Lady of Czestochowa
and was constructed by hand and by a Franciscan monk, Brother Bronislaus, a polish native,
starting in 1938.
He was very creative with sea shells, rocks, jewelry, & other objects brought by visitors over the years.
