I spent the night of December 4 in Raton, New Mexico. The sunset grabbed my attention as I arrived back at the motel  from getting my supper. I couldn't decide which picture(s) to use so here are all three!

The deep blue of the winter sky behind the yellow and orange of the clouds was striking. I didn't even mind eating a cold Arby's sandwich to get to  capture these pictures!

I tried to merge some of them to accent the color contrast but the cloud structure changed just enough that the details disappeared.
