A variety of photos from our trip through Northern California.  They don't include the photos from the Redwood Forest (Ave. of the Giants).  Those are in a seperate photo album on Tabblo.com.

You'll see the elk, Alcatraz, Cresent City Beach and the Hard Rock Cafe, Golden Gate Bridge, and the sea elephants and seals in San Francisco.

We didn't get a chance to take any pictures of our drive across the bay from San Francisco to Oakland.  That was the scariest part of the couple of days in Cali!  Dead of night.  90 mph in a driving rain and still getting passed left and right and horns blasting all around.  You can see the ocean below you through the bridge.

When you get through the bridge you pop out into the worst of Oakland in the middle of the night.

Dad stuck a movie of himself swimming in the ocean.  Don't know if it'll load up on tabblo.

Nathan was also tricked into tasting the ocean.  He said he knew it was salty, but didn't expect it to be THAT salty.  It's ok to throw up in the ocean, Nathan!

Nathan then was also tricked into running along the shoreline of the ocean.  Within 15 feet the undertow and a wave took him under. 

Dad had a good time with Nathan!!! ;)

We tried to get a hold of Rob Elbl while in the SF Area.  He was "conviently" out of state -- Up in the Olympic Pennisula where we just came from!

When the sun came down, it got almost as cold as Shelby, MT did in the tent.
