Red Sox Opening Day 2006

Jayne and I love going to Red Sox opening day at Fenway park.  We try and go every year. This year was less dramatic than last year's World Series banner rasing but it was still fun to see the new look, in and around Fenway

Jayne got to talk to the old timer Red Sox players who were being brought out to throw in the first pitch.  She ran into them when she went down to buy us some beers (She's an awesome wife).  She tried to get them to sign her Red Sox sneakers but the people in charge didn't think it was appropriate.

The ceremony and first pitch were cool, but the best part, as always, was the fly over.  You just have to love the jets.

After the game we went to out favorite rib joint, RedBones and then, as our tradition dictates, we stopped off for some good Tequila at Rudy's Cafe in Somerville.  A great day as always.
