Our vacation plan was to go to New York City during the Christmas holiday season.  When we found out 20 minutes before leaving for the airport that our flight was canceled because of weather in the northeast, we needed to find another plan.  We were so disappointed.  So Emily and I got on our phones trying to get refunds on tickets and hotel rooms while Sean got on the computer to see where we could go.  Jim observed all the activity.  We couldn't go south because we packed for cold weather.  So off to Vegas we went!  It wasn't New York City but we had a great time anyway.  We saw the Beatles Love at the Mirage.  Fantastic!  Best of all, we got to spend the time with Sean and Emily!
