Last weekend Katie and I decided to get some planters for the back deck, so we picked up some snap dragons, assorted plants, and a pretty purple plant in a hanger

We hung the Purple plant that came in a hanging pot on the porch, and put the plants into the planters. The plastic composite 2x4's aren't quite the same size as real 2x4's so we had to secure the brackets with some cable ties so that they fit a little more securly.

After a quick watering Katie and I decided to relax and enjoy the sun on the back porch

We went to pull the hanging plant in before the biblical rain started friday night, and to our surprise a morning dove has decided our new plant is the best place for her home! as katie was taking the plant in she flew off (she's since returned and is happily sitting in her nest.

Here's the single egg that the mamma dove is sitting on in her nest. As soon as we saw she had an egg, we haven't disturbed the plant since then.
